Chromicent is a pharmaceutical service provider that develops chromatographic methods on behalf of its customers. In addition, we conduct innovative and proactive research on drug safety issues such as nitrosamines, pyrrolizidine alkaloids and extractables and leachables.
State-of-the-art research, such as we are engaged in, naturally requires research funding. Chromicent’s work in the field of nitrosamines and pyrrolizidine alkaloids has been recognised as worthy of funding by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and has been supported accordingly over the last three years. As a result, we can refer to four publications, among others – you can find the publications *here*.
In addition to the financial basis, a sponsorship by the federal government is always also a recognition of Chromicent’s work and performance. Therefore, we are pleased to announce that from now on we are allowed to carry the BSFZ seal.
The BMBF’s certification authority thus confirms that Chromicent conducts research and development within the meaning of the Research Traits Act and thus promotes socially and economically relevant R&D on its own initiative.
